primeuknews – Indonesia has been confirmed as one of the hosts for MotoGP in 2024. Indonesia will host the 16th series, precisely on 27-29 September 2024 at Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

Indonesia first hosted MotoGP in 1996, at Sentul Circuit, Bogor, West Java. However, the Grand Prix event at the circuit was only held twice. Since 1997, the world’s biggest motorcycle racing event has not returned to Indonesia.

However, after the Mandalika Circuit was built, Indonesia returned to the Grand Prix racing calendar in 2022. In 2024, the Mandalika Circuit will host MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 riders for the third time, and the competition is expected to be much more exciting.
